Age

Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 1999.

Admission

Admissions to Manakula Vinayagar Institute of Technology are based on CENTAC counselling sessions. Students meeting the above criteria are advised to register for counselling.

Educational Qualification :

A pass in 10, + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with a minimum 50% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

MVIT houses a central library and digital library to cater the academic needs of students. The central library has a rich collection of 20855 books in different subjects like, Basic Sciences, Engineering & Technology and Management etc. Students can make use of the facility until 5.30 pm on all working days.

Banking Facility

To cater the financial needs of students, Indian Bank has established a branch with an ATM facility on campus. Hence students can utilize the facility for personal banking needs such as money transfer, cash withdrawal, etc on bank working days.

Transportation

MVIT owns an excellent transportation facility for students to shuttle between home and institution. On request, students can make use of transportation facilities through reasonable payment at the institute. Students from Puducherry, Cuddalore, Villupuram,Neyveli and Tindivanam can make use of the facility on request.

Stationary Shop

To cater the stationary needs of students and staff, a stationary shop is made available on campus. Students can make use of the facility on all working days. The stationary shop houses everything from notebooks, pencils, pens to geometric equipment. Photocopying facility is also available for students on all working days.
