Amrita follows a strict dress code for UG students. All students taking up undergraduate courses are encouraged to wear uniforms on working days.PG students are free to wear colour dress.

Yes, hostel facilities are available for students at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. In total, 8 hostels  with night cafeterias are available for students on request.

The mess and canteen facilities are good enough.To dine healthy and hygienic, the institute runs in house canteen between 7 am and 7 pm for students and staff. The facility is open to day scholars, staff members and visitors. To ensure, ‘Students are healthy’, the  food served is prepared in a hygienic and authentic way.  Most importantly, the canteen is designed in a way to bring liseureness and relaxation.
